Night at the harbour

In the night the sea is almost black, except for the dim light spots of the stars reflecting in the water’s surface. There’s nothing that can compete with that view, with the frozen night wind.   
He gazed upon the sea. It wasn’t night time, not yet, but the view was still beautiful. The sun had disappeared long ago, but its last rays of light gave the horizon a golden glow. There was nothing more beautiful than a beginning winter night at the harbour.  
The chill wind bit his cheeks and pulled at his coat, but he remained standing. He would be there when her ferry came, as he had promised.  A light rain lowered like a spi

To dump a DollI had been planning it for weeks. I had to get rid of Eve. Her company was pleasant, no doubt about that, but lately she had just become a burden to me. She was shy and had almost no friends, in fact, I think I was her only friend. That’s why she called me when she was bored. That’s why I had to comfort her when her cat got run over by truck. I had to cheer her up when her boyfriend left her. And worst of all; I needed her. No matter how strange it may sound, I needed her company. Every once in a while, I needed someone I could talk to, without being argued with or told I was wrong.

Well.. thing is, with the tax (or what it's called) the bank takes to change Danish money into American money, the cost for sending it, it'll be about 10$ for the icon althogether. And being a student, paying for just about everything myself for the first time, I can't afford to spend that much on an icon.
I'm sorry to have wasted your time :( I might be interested later on, when I can pay for it, though.

Yeah, of course :) But it might be a while before I can pay you. It's not the price, but when I get home in the afternoon, the bank's usually closed. So it might be a while before I can change my krona to dollars :( But luckily the holidays are coming up, so perhaps I'll have a chance then..
